He was from New York City. She was from England. Stan & Joan met and were married for circa 70 years! They supported and loved each other through life's ups and downs. Here's the story of how Joan and Stan Lee met and fell in love!

On January 4, 2011 Stan Lee received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame given to him by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. We documented the event. Comic artist Todd McFarlane spoke at the celebration on behalf of Stan!

In 2007, at the San Diego Comic Convention in downtown San Diego, we join Stan Lee along with the filmmakers of WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY (Will Hess, Nikki Frakes & Terry Dougas), in Hall H in front of 6,000 attendees there to watch snippets of Stan's budding official biography documentary. Besides Stan Lee, the panel includes X-MEN Producer Tom DeSanto and DARK KNIGHT Producer Michael Uslan! It was a fun event with high energy that all enjoyed. Stan Lee began Marvel's first fan club, the Merry Marvel Marching Society which allowed for fans to write in and directly communicate their thoughts and feelings with Marvel about the characters and stories. This brilliant move built a community of fans whom grew up reading Marvel Comics and connected many of them. Hear from some of the fans whom we discovered that read Stan's Soapbox as kids growing up reading Marvel Comics!

Stan Lee and his brother Larry Lieber, a talented comic artists that drew Spider-Man among other characters for years at Marvel are the subject of this video. Explore their partnership as artist and story teller at Marvel and its origins as brothers growing up in New York City during the Great Depression. Stan's little brother Larry was always a big part of his life and career as they worked together through most of it.

Marvel Then & Now - An evening with Stan Lee and Joe Quesada. Stan talks in front of an audience of students at the Ackerman Union on the UCLA campus. This event is hosted by Director Kevin Smith (MALL RATS). Joe, Kevin and Stan are joined by comic book historian Jim McLauchlin.

WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY played in the Slamdance Film Festival in 2012. After the screening, Stan and filmmakers (Will Hess, Nikki Frakes, Terry Dougas, Max Work) took part in a Q&A.

Watch the music come alive at the scoring session for WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY held at Capitol Records in Hollywood, CA. A 100 piece orchestral score came together for a Saturday session to record 33 min. of music. This was held on the iconic recording stage where music greats like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, The Beatles, Louis Armstrong, and many other musical icons have recorded and made musical history! Stan visited the stage to meet the musicians and have lunch with them. Watch the fun event here! Included in this video are Hollywood composers discussing music's importance to telling the story. They include: Danny Elfman (SPIDER-MAN 1-2), Ramin Djawadi (IRON MAN), Chris Young (SPIDER-MAN 3, GHOST RIDER), JOHN OTTMAN (X-MEN 2), along with WGP's composers Holly Amber Church, Kostas Christides and Minos Matsas.
