Will met Marvel founder and Spider-Man creator Stan Lee in 2006 and decided to tell his creative and inspiring life story by writing / directing / producing the official biographical documentary on Stan's life. Will devoted the next 6 years (until 2012) to this mission and the result is WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY which went on to play in 26 film festivals and win 8 awards before premieri
WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY initially premiered at the San Diego Comic Con to an audience of thousands of avid Stan Lee fans and followed by a Q&A with Stan & the filmmakers!
Stan joined us for a day of fun at the historic Capitol Records stage in Hollywood where we held a 100 piece orchestral scoring session to score WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY! Stan met the musicians, and thanked them all for making such beautiful music to help tell his story!
KING CAKE: THE NEW ORLEANS MARDI GRAS STORY (WRITER / DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / EDITOR)
In 2012, Will kicked off his second documentary looking back at the 300 year history of the New Orleans Mardi Gras entitled KING CAKE: THE NEW ORLEANS MARDI GRAS STORY. In 1999, actor Jim Belushi (ACCORDING TO JIM) was the Mardi Gras Monarch Bacchus XXXI for the Krewe of Bacchus which is one of the largest Mardi Gras parades. Will interviewed Jim about the experience which he shares in KING CAKE.
Actor John C. Reilly (GANGS OF NEW YORK) served as Mardi Gras Monarch Bacchus XLVII for the Krewe of Bacchus in 2015. Will interviewed him for KING CAKE to memorialize his thoughts and memories of New Orleans, her people and his Mardi Gras experience.
Actor Henry Winkler (HAPPY DAYS) served as Mardi Gras Monarch Bacchus IX for the Krewe of Bacchus in 1977! Will interviewed him for KING CAKE to memorialize his thoughts and memories of New Orleans, her people and his Mardi Gras experience.
