This initiative calls for planting 1 million trees and flowers of varying types and varieties through out the district to make West Los Angeles a more lush and colorful place to live. This effort will also employ groups of clean-up crews which will be paid to travel about the district daily sweeping gutters and sidewalks, doing light painting touch-up jobs to extricate graffiti, pressure washing to clean sidewalks and Metro stops, clean up the litter, etc. in an overall effort to beautify and make District 50 more beautiful than she ever was for her future constituents!
